Imagine the great Jehovah coming down to lead those without sight. What wonderful humility on His part. A blind man navigates through life doing what he knows how to do and still has difficulty. How much more diffi cult is it for him to succeed going down a path he does not know! In the natural we are blind to the way of salvation. But the Lord, in His compassion, gave us the assurance and drew us to Him. He opened our eyes to see His glorious face!
We are blind as to the future. We do not know what will take place in the next hour or the next day. But the Lord Jesus will lead us safely to the end of the journey. Blessed be His name! We do not know which road is safe, but the Lord knows. He leads us until we are deliveredfrom all danger. Blessed are those who put their hands in the Lord’s hands. He will accompany them all the way and will bring them from glory to glory. He will open their eyes so that they can clearly see the path they must travel. Then they will sing the songs of deliverance to praise His holy Name.
His name is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Dear Lord, lead your poor blind servant today because I do not know the path of tomorrow without you. Amen.
