Elisha the prophet was in Dothan when the king of Syria sent horses, chariots and a great host by night and encompassed the city. Elisha's servant was afraid and asked: "How can we escape such a great army?'
Elisha could see what his servant could not. He was able to see a great army with greater and stronger weapons protecting the city. God sent horses and chariots of fire which were mightier more powerful than regular horses and metal chariots. They were able to destroy the enemy's chariots.
Do we believe that this can happen today? True; those who oppose our faith outnumber us. But, remember that God has many things, seen and unseen, working with more power on behalf of the righteous. God's secret army will appear at the right time.. The army defending the righteous is more powerful than the evil army.
Let us rise and go forward and shout out loud. Let us trust in the great secret army that will take away our fear. The believer is on the winning side!
The battle may be hot and difficult, but we know how it will end. When we believe and trust in the army of the Lord, we become the majority!
Lord, open our spiritual eyes as you opened the eyes of the prophet's servant, to see that those that are with us are more than those that are against us!
