Seeing Him face to face

‘And there shall be no more curse.  And His servants shall serve Him and they shall see His face.  And His name shall be on their foreheads.’ -  Rev. 22:3

What a wonderful blessing is in store for us in the presence of His glory!  As His servants we will serve only Him, and there will be no other lord over us.  We will no longer toil and labor but spend eternity serving Jesus, and we will not faint!

We will be proud to serve Him in all things.  Our greatest wish will be fulfilled as we look upon His face for all eternity.  To look upon Jesus’ face is our reward for faithful service.

We will know the Lord as He is, face to face.  This is the greatest grace that can be bestowed on a faithful servant by his lord.  Moses asked only: “Show me thy glory!”

He will stamp His name on our foreheads as we look upon Him.  He knows us and we will confess him as our Lord.  The innermost secrets of Grace reflect in the fellowship between us and our Lord.

Lord, I believe that your promise is faithful and true.  I believe that you will bless me now, and when I reach my home in Glory I will own all of your blessings in full!
