As I watch the news today, my heart goes out to all minorities who are unarmed, be they in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon or any other Arab Country.   As I wrote last month, the enemy of man's soul is active, taking as many as he can to hell with him.  Our telephones and our emails are filled with helpless cries of people living in insurmountable conditions.  The Christians in Iraq have had to  flee for their lives to places with no electricity or water, and they are starving to death.  I just made a telephone call to our man in Lebanon who said the 'Dahish', more commonly know as the ISIS terrorists are raiding the borders of Lebanon form Syria.  They have threatened to kill Christians living in the border villages and the Lebanese army is powerless to stop them, and may soldiers have died.  Its amazing that the two sects of Muslim; Sunni and Shiite, have turned against one another and the Iraqi government cannot stop them.

I watch the news coming directly form Iraq.  ISIS is a terrorist organization whose intent is to take the entire Middle East, and then the world.  Some other power is supplying them with weapons, since they have no legal government or country.  It seems neither Syria, Lebanon or Iraq is strong enough to stop them.  Some of you may have noticed as you watched the news that their flag i black, they dress in black and the represent death.  It is unusual to have a bold and blatant group such as this in the 21st century.

Ore president has ordered humanitarian aid to the Christians and other minorities in Iraq who are stranded in the mountains.   However, he has not ordered the destruction of ISIS.  We need to pray for our government and our president, because ISIS has the potential of taking over all of Iraq, Syria and Lebanon and will not be stopped after that.  To me, ISIS represents the power of darkness.  The only answer I have is that Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy.

The land of /Iraq dates back to old Testament and was called Babylon.  Babylon was mentioned in the book of Revelations and in Daniel.  As I have noted in the past, Babylon is mentioned more than any other city in the Bible after Jerusalem.  The Bible says the people of Babylon are the most evil people on earth.  If ISIS takes over Iraq, are we living in the last days?  Are we getting closer to what Daniel saw?  What John the Revelator saw?  I believe we are.  We talk about the coming of the Lord and w know that one day with the Lord is like a thousand years and one thousand years like one day.  The false prophet and the Anti-Christ are ready to be revealed.  I also believe that something is holding them back and I believe it is the appearance of Jesus in the clouds coming to take His bride!

"The Lord bless thee and keep thee!" - Numbers 6:24

With these words the high priest begins his service, asking the blessing of the Lord on the people.  This is a true promise.  This great blessing that our high priest begins with will come to pass because he is speaking with God's tongue.

It is a joy to live in the shadow of God's blessing.  It makes all our activities special.  When we are blessed, our blessings will overflow into all we own or do, into our joy, our loss, our pain and our persecution.

The blessing of God is deep and very active with results.  The blessing of man may start and end with words, but the blessing of the Lord is reach and holy.

The best wish we offer to dear friend should be:' The Lord bless you!"  It does not only mean prosperity to you, but that the Lord keeps you with joy.  He will protect us by his power; protect us close to Him and in Him.  Those whom God keeps are truly kept and protected from evil. 

The Joy of God's protection knows no limits.  The keeping of the Lord together with His blessings are confirmed and will always be there.

I pray that God's rich blessing and real protection will be on every reader of this editorial, and on His humble servant.
