Yes, it was God, the Holy Spirit, that was the treasure in Paul. The Holy spirit was the only match to the power of the enemy. Be-cause of this, the early apostles went every-where preaching with great success. They turned the world upside down! Christianity spread throughout the world. It changed governments and nations.
This same power is available to the Church today. But, sadly we are falling short of our potential. Thank God for those who still believe and exercise trough faith what Jesus said in John 14:12.
I believe that these lost gifts will be re-stored and manifested through faithful men and women in the last revival before the Lord returns to take his bride. Men and women around the world who will not fear to declare that not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of God will the enemy be destroyed!
Without faith it is impossible to please God! That is why we have each been given a measure of faith. We need to use this faith so that we can experience what the early church experienced.
I thank the Lord for his power! I thank him for the treasure He has given us.
“But we have this treasure in earthen ves-sels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us!” 2Cor 4:7
