Abiding in the fear of the Lord, and the faith in Him, will make a person a “fenced brasen wall”, which the enemy cannot shake or penetrate.
The world needs this kind of people, and the Church needs them. The pulpit and the pews need them. Remember, there is no power or person that can change the weak man into a “fenced brasen wall” except the Lord Himself. The spirit of hypocrisy does not like this. They will fight the determined men of Truth, with their hands and their teeth. Nothing makes the devil mad like these people that are steadfast, and determined to trust the Word of the Lord and use it. The devil attacks the steadfast holiness, as the Assyrians did against the strong fenced cities in Israel.
Quite often the storms will remove those that are “carried about with every wind of doctrine” (Ephesians 4:14). You look for them and you cannot find their place. Those that love the commandments of Grace, will be anchored like the ocean rocks in the bottom of the sea - unmovable and unshakable!
You may say, “How can that be?” The only answer is the Word of the Lord, “I AM WITH YOU, SAITH THE LORD JEHOVAH, AND WILL DELIVER AND SAVE THE FAITHFUL SOULS FROM ALL THE ATTACKS OF THE ENEMY.” The armies of the enemy will be against us, but the Captain of the Host is with us to save us. His promise says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you...” (Hebrews 13:5b)
