One of the greatest things about Godly Love is that it is unchangeable. The love of merciful Jehovah God and His covenant will not depart from His people. My soul rejoices with this great declaration.
The year 2013 will soon be history. My life is getting shorter and change is taking place. Our world round us changes every day. Oil lamps have changed to electricity, and still our Lord is the same.
A mountain may depart, but no power is able to affect our eternal God. Nothing in the past, present or future will cause Jehovah to turn His wrath on me. My soul rests in His eternal, everlasting kindness.
Remember God’s eternal covenant, for He remembers it. God swore by His name that He will be your God and always count you among His people. His love, His kindness and His covenant make Isaiah 54:10 your promise from Him. Know that eternity in all of its length cannot take that from you!
