“If ye abide in me and my word abides in you, ye shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you.”

In order to live for Christ and truly understand the great secret of this promise we must abide in Him. Abiding in Christ means to not forsake His love for another love. It means to live the life of love fully and with unity in Him. It is like the branch that grows outstretched but still receives its life source and fruit
from the trunk. A true believer abides in Christ in the same way.
We need to also learn to receive the power to be able to go before the throne. It is learning the way to continue fellowship; to know how to ask for what you want from the Lord. To learn to be like Enoch who walked with God, and John who laid his head on the Lord’s chest.
Every believer must be in true unity with Christ. Our hearts must continue in His love, and our minds
must abide in full trust in Him. Our hope it to trust in His word. The total man should be in constant
communication with the Lord in order to avoid danger. We need to trust Him and His power through prayer.
The Lord will not give cart blanch to anyone unless that person can say: “I live not I, but Christ in me.”
Those of you who have lost your fellowship with the Lord have lost your power. If you want to be stronger in your asking, you should abide in God and He will abide in you.
