My name is Samir and I am very glad to be here to give my testimony so that everyone can hear and know about the miracle that God performed in my life. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The disease progressed very quickly through my body and the doctors realized that they could not cure me. My cancer was stage four and no amount of therapy or treatment would change anything. I knew that I was going to die of this disease.
This was two years ago. At that time, my friend told me that you were traveling to Sweden for meetings, and that you pray for the sick and they are healed. He told me that many had testifi ed to healing from Cancer through the Good News Program or because you had prayed for them in person. When I heard this, I started to watch you on the Good News Program. I saw people testify that they were healed. I started to listen to your teaching on salvation and healing. I came to believe that even though the doctors could not help me and had left me to die, Jesus Christ was my only hope of living. I decided to attend your meeting.
I got to the meeting and sat as close as I could to the front. I watched you and I listened to every word you said. When you invited people to come forward for prayer, I walked quickly to the front. When it was my turn, you asked me what I needed from the Lord. I said I had cancer and wanted to be healed. You said: “Your cancer is gone! It is dead! You are healed. According to your faith you have received. Go and check with your doctor!”
I felt the touch of the Lord the minute you put your hand on my head. The next day, I called and made an appointment with the doctor. When I got there, I told him what happened and that I wanted him to check my prostate. He ran a series of tests and to his surprise, but not to mine, I was completely cancer free! That was two years ago, and I am rejoicing in the Lord for His mercies to me! I will serve the Lord for the rest of my life.
