"Halelujah, Halelujah and Halelujah!  I could not wait to sit down and write you this letter! 

You remember that I called you from here in Lebanon and was overjoyed to see that you answered the Good News Hotline phone.  You see, I called because we as a family was suffering greatly.  My beloved brother was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  He had been to many doctors who did not give him any hope.  Finally we were scheduled to take him back for final examinations and to hear what procedures the doctors were going to recommend for him.  That is when I decided to call you and ask you to pray for him, which you did.  You told me that the cancer was dead in my brother, and to keep the appointment to see what the doctor would say.

We went to the appointment and my brother was examined and subjected to many tests.  Several hours later, the doctor came in and told us to go home and he would be in touch with us with the results.

We went home and waited for several days for him to call and he didn’t.  We got a little anxious and decided to call him ourselves!  When we did the nurse got him on the phone, and that is when the miracle was manifest!  He told us the reason he delayed calling was because the cancer was no longer in my brother’s body, and that he had the tests examined over and over again!  Dr. Malki, my brother is whole, thank you Jesus!

My name is Hiyam and I live here in Madaba.  The last time you were in Madaba which I think is about two years ago, I had a friend, Nuha, who had cancer.   She fought the disease for several years, but ended up in the hospital in the ICU.  The doctors told her family that she was dying.  She had lapsed into a coma and they were preparing for the end of her life.  
I knew about you through the Good News Program.  I used to watch you a lot.  That week in question I heard that you would be coming to Madaba, so I got your telephone number from the pastor and called you.  I could not even leave the hospital for fear that I would not be there when my friend died.  I asked you to come to the hospital and pray for her. When I asked if you could go to the hospital you said that you did not have the time, since you were leaving that evening to the airport.  You suggested that I bring you a picture of her and you would pray for her.  I sent a picture with our pastor, and he brought it back to me that same evening.
I took the picture of my friend and went to the hospital.  I placed it on her chest and prayed that a miracle would take place.  She was not responsive, so I left the picture on her chest and went home. The next morning the telephone woke me up.   It was my friend on the other end of the line.  She said; “Hiyam, where are you?  Come and get me, I want to go home!” 
I was in complete shock.  She put her son on the phone and he told me that when the doctor came in to check on her that morning he expected to pull her off life support.  Instead he found her awake and talking.  He did a full examination and told the family that the cancer was gone, that a miracle had taken place! 
I praise God for this miracle!  Nuha is in great health and wanted to be here tonight but she is out of the country with her family.  She asked me to be here in her place and tell what God did for her!
