Food For Thought - September 2009

The world that we live in is in trouble. The America that we love and the people in it are divided. The powers of darkness and the spirit of the antichrist are doing all they can to deceive, if possible, even the elect of God. The word of the Lord to us is - FEAR NOT, FEAR NOT, FEAR NOT! The grace and power of God is greater than our enemy. Those who believe in the Lord are seeing what He said - the works that I do shall you do also; and greater works than these shall you do (John 14:12).

Every day, week, month and year, I am more and more convinced, when I see the results, that God’s Word is being confirmed as in the time of the Apostles. This last trip to Jordan and Israel is up-to-date proof. So we carry on, in spite of the false alarms that the enemy uses to discourage God’s ambassadors. I see it wherever I go, especially in the good ole’ USA.

I was asked to do an invocation for the Board of Supervisors for San Bernardino County, California. The man in charge said that I need to bear in mind the listeners will be from different religions. In other words, don’t offend anybody. But, Paul says, the preaching of the gospel to them that do not believe is foolishness, but to them that believe, it is the power of God. (I Cor. 1:18). I believe that this country was founded on the Judeo-Christian principles of the Bible. Before all prophecies come to pass, America will turn their backs on the truth that made this nation great and strong. This is already happening. I believe what America is going through is a warning to repent and return to our first love. Remember, one person with God is a majority. God is still in charge. The battle is the Lord’s. There will be a final knock out of the enemy. We are seeing millions of people come to Christ. This is a wonderful sign of the soon coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
